This film gained 29 million views worldwide with zero ad spend. We knew people were bored of speaking and hearing about Brexit but still wanted to create some content around it. We needed to cut through the noise and knew that comedy was the way to do so.
We had been in touch with Andy Serkis to make a film about Brexit and this felt like the perfect fit. We focused on Theresa May’s deal as our subject. In under a week, we had a script, location and crew lined up. We had shot and edited the film by the next and then it was out in the world. It went viral pretty quickly after that and was broadcast across the globe. Since then, we have received a Creative Circle award for Best Tactical Film.
