Mark leads the company and has made films in over 80 countries. He has won Gold at the New York Film Festival as director, and made online films reaching viewing figures as high as 30 million. Mark worked closely with Tony Blair and Gordon Brown on their election campaigns and has exec produced our award winning documentaries for BBC, Arte and others. He is on the advisory board of children’s charity “Theirworld” and has recently finished his first novel. Mark received a First Class Degree in Philosophy & Literature from Manchester University.
Dom devised and wrote the popular British TV comedy-drama series, Doc Martin. He was the creator and writer of the BBC One series of Robin Hood, and a showrunner on the Netflix production of Knightfall. Dom has worked with Mark for nearly 10 years on films for leading organisations, campaigns and figures, including the 30m view viral hit “Gollums Brexit”, which won the Creative Circle award last year. Dom is also the brother of the Oscar-winning director, Anthony Minghella, who helped mark start the company.
Toby is a creative Director and editor with over 20 years experience in the industry. He has worked as Creative Director at the advertising agency, Premier, and was the Senior Editor at Picture Production Company, editing Hollywood film trailers. He has a sharp eye for arresting visuals and a keen sense of narrative. He has produced films across the UK and internationally, and has directed a number of high-profile commercials and delivered branded content for major clients including NatWest, EDF, Astra Zeneca, Budweiser, Omega and John Frieda.
Nathalie Kantaris Diaz
Nathalie works across production, script-writing and research for Silverfish. She has worked as producer-director on Silverfish’s short content for the BBC (including docs for BBC Ideas and BBC Storyworks), working closely with commissioners to tease out the best storylines and contributors. Prior to joining Silverfish, she worked as a news producer in Reuters TV Paris and worked as a journalist in Rome. Nathalie received a First Class Degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University and has an MA in Film & Philosophy.
Nicole is a creative producer, researcher and editor for Silverfish, who combines a real understanding of social media platforms and the online world as well as traditional TV. She graduated with a first in Film Production and has had her own film on LGBTQ+ issues on BBC recently. She has also produced our films on green tech, blind runners, HEE services and the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Ruth has written and directed a diverse range of shorts, documentaries and promos. She wrote, directed and edited the short comedy ‘Countryphile’, which won the Special Jury Prize for Writing at the NBFF 2014 and awards at various other festivals. Ruth’s documentary for the Guardian, ‘From the Bronx to Yale: the Power of High School Speech’, was awarded a Staff Pick on Vimeo and premiered at Sheffield DocFest in 2016. She has also written her debut feature ‘Charm Offensive’, with the assistance of the Screen Arts International and the BFI. Ruth received a Degree in English Literature from Cambridge University.
Peter Pecotić is an experienced film maker and adventurer entrepreneur who has lived and worked in Shanghai and across Asia pacific as well as in the UK. He is fascinated with Culture and the human condition. His recent documentaries include “Amur” a film about the life of a river on the Russia-China Border and the personal journey “Countryman” where he buddies up with an indigenous Australian artist on an epic road trip. He surfs, makes films and lives anywhere and everywhere.
